Our Approach

We believe that success in amateur athletes is driven from these principles:

Progress comes, not from a single all-important workout, but from incremental improvement over time. Progressive overload, while avoiding injury, is the key.

Whether running, cross training, weight training, or resting, each activity has a purpose. It might be building resilience, running economy, aerobic capacity, top speed, or mental toughness, or simply reaping the gains of previous workouts.

Your training plan is specifically designed for you, your goals, and your current fitness level. Focus on your goals and your own reason to run. Don't fall into the comparison trap. Trust the process.

Failure is your best teacher. You never succeed at anything you haven't tried. And yet, if you never fail, you're probably not trying hard enough.

Remember: Last > DNF > DNS.

The most effective training will be based on scientifically tested methods and your measured response to training.
